Resilient Ways: Imagine a free world …

What dreams of resiliency may come …

Getting to know and trust new people is tough. As anarchists we must be “bigger heart’d” than most – we have to be willing to trust … not in stupid ways, but also not in cold-heart’d cynical ways. Our Resilient Team is growing, and we are forging a path to create communities we would be proud of and to base this not simply on material things (which are important), but more so on the people, the human beings, that will comprise our communities … (so maybe I shouldn’t have taken this picture of Jim) (but I never said I was

Storage Achieved! (a great victory)

Resiliently share this:

We made it to Ohio with Dan’s stuff. He doesn’t have a lot of stuff, but he’s a minimalist, of sorts, and that made this less painful than it might have been. Dan and Jim (Davidson) had a fine dinner at Piada’s (Italian Street Food) – and we pondered pre-Columbian civilizations in the new world, their knowledge of the cosmos, and, also, what the hell is “Italian Street Food” … But Dan’s stuff is definitely in Ohio now … (and we will rest, for tomorrow we meet an ally and forge an alliance)

Our adventure thus far, on “Freedom Fest” …

Resiliently share this:

The trip thus far has been very rewarding … On Wednesday, we were able to get to Colorado Springs and link up with Mike and Lauren “Hostile”. The Thursday leg of our trip was a lot of driving, through ancient native american burial grounds and passed the famous “Fort Courage” which got in on that “sweet F-Troop money” back in the 1970’s. Friday we were at the Paris Casino/Hotel, meeting folks in the liberty/freedom movement. We spent some time talking with several exhibitors, including Anthem Blanchard of Anthem Gold. Saturday morning we woke up to have an early meeting with

Silver

Resiliently share this:

Our team has developed a concept for a silver bullion round in sterling silver. Sterling is a bit more silver than the 90% silver pieces which many Americans either remember from 1964 and previous, or have used as silver for barter and trade in the many years since then. The first bullion round we’ve designed is the size and shape of the old silver dime, but without the milled edge. We’ve put the abolitionist’s logo on the obverse and our web address and the weight of the silver piece in grams on the reverse. We will be mounting some of

Travels, Travails, and Colorado Springs …

Resiliently share this:

Dan Sullivan and Jim Davidson met up with Mike and Lauren Hostile of the Front Range Voluntaryist newspaper on Wednesday afternoon in Colorado Springs. We shared a very nice meal at the Ivy School, visited a nearby mountain park, and spent quite a bit of time together talking about the philosophy of liberty. Thursday was also a travel day, and we arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada in the early evening. There were quite a few people along our path who were in need of help, and we provided help to several of them as we were able. “There is a
